Jumping from salon to salon!!!!
Every one wants amazing hair but doesn't want to brake the bank but, is following deals around really the best thing for you to do? I don't think so and here is why.
Every hair stylist is different and you may think that they all do the same thing but that is not true. Some stylist may like to lean more towards a more natural looking result where as some might but be doing the same standard placement on every one and getting the same result on every one. Me personally I like to follow the head shape when doing any type of cutting or coloring. I also like to think about the way that the color is going to grow out. If you are someone who doesn't get their color done very often the maybe a shadow root is more for you and your life style. Face framing is all the rage right now, not only with face framing layers but brighter highlights around the face. Now again not all stylist think the same way.
For a stylist it is very important to understand the clients hair and we can not truly understand until we start to play with it. Every ones hair may lift (lighten) differently. Lighter hair does not take as much effort as someone who has dark very course hair. Now when you stay with a stylist they have a better understanding of your hair and chances are will be able to get you the result that you want. If you have previous color done to your hair then that will affect the out come of your hair as well.
Now I've met people who literally jump from salon to salon and trying to do their hair done and it gets tricky. For one we as stylist have no idea what about stylist has done to your hair. Did you get a base color, or a just a base brake. Where your highlights done with a heavy weaving pattern or a fine slicing pattern? Did you last have a shadow root?Do you like the color on the warmer side, neutral side or really ashy? Do you pull your hair back a lot? What type of shampoo and conditioner are you using? Do you always blow-dry your hair or do you let it air dry? All these things are factors that play a roll in your hair and the out come of your hair.
All this to say that sticking to one stylist is important for not only you but for your hair. now if you don't like your hair then don't be afraid to speak up and say what it is that you don't like about your hair. Chances are that the stylist will fix the issue that day or maybe in a later appointment depending how they book their schedule.
